# General Settings

## Show the Random Password Generating

It allows the display or hiding of a button that opens the Random Password Generator screen. This tool generates random passwords with the features you request.

## Validation Type selection

it sets which 2FA verification type should appear as default for all users on the login screen. Users can customize this area for themselves. Users can customize this setting with [Validation Type](/master/administration/my-account/validation-type.md) under My Account.
