E-Mail settings are used for 2 purposes.
Sending reports via e-mail,
Sending an e-mail to the secondary e-mail address as a 2FA method when logging in,
The address of the e-mail server is written. IP address, server name, FQDN etc. formats can be entered. It is mandatory to fill in this field.
TLS is used to determine whether the secure channel will be used in e-mail transactions. Although it is a port-independent setting but port information may change depending on the selection made here. The port that the e-mail server listens to in order to send e-mail is entered in the Port field. By default, most email servers use TCP port 25. However, TCP 587, TCP 465 etc. ports can be used in Secure and other connection types. Secure channel and TCP port information may need to be obtained from the E-Mail administrator.
Configurations that require the from field may have been made during e-mail sending. In this case, the address in the from section of the e-mail must be written in this field. It is not a required field. Information regarding the relevant configuration should be obtained from the E-Mail system administrator.
E-mail servers may support unauthenticated or authenticated methods in the e-mail sending process. With this information, that obtained from the E-Mail system administrator, if there is a need for authentication for e-mail sending, this switch should open and the username and password fields are filled in appropriately. If anonymous relay is defined, this switch is kept closed.
If the e-mail server requires authentication, the username and password are written in these fields. If the Authentication switch is on, it is mandatory to fill in these fields.
If an e-mail test is desired, based on the information entered, a valid e-mail address is entered in this field and the test button is pressed. Data written to this field is not saved.
After entering the E-Mail settings, you should save the settings by pressing the Update button.
