Role Management

Roles are defined for administrative activities within ARKSSPR. Membership in these roles is evaluated cumulatively.

There are 4 roles.

Administrators, Report Operators, Help Desk, Restricted Users.

Administrators

It is the role authorized to perform all operations within ARKSSPR. He is the manager of ARKSSPR. Their powers are listed below.

  1. You can change your password,

  2. You can define an alternative E-Mail address to be used in 2FA transactions,

  3. You can customize the default verification type to be used for password reset and account unlocking operations,

  4. You can scan and identify QR for the mobile authenticator application to be used in 2FA transactions,

  5. You can get reports,

  6. Can manage roles,

  7. You can change the settings,

  8. Can define licenses,

  9. Can read logs,

  10. You can customize the screen,

  11. Can see requests.

Report Operators

It can view reports, create scheduled reports, and export reports and send them via e-mail.

  1. You can change your password,

  2. You can define an alternative E-Mail address to be used in 2FA transactions,

  3. You can customize the default verification type to be used for password reset and account unlocking operations,

  4. You can scan and identify QR for the mobile authenticator application to be used in 2FA transactions,

  5. You can get reports,

Help Desk

It does ticket management. It can view help requests opened by users and close calls once their issues are resolved.

  1. You can change your password,

  2. You can define an alternative E-Mail address to be used in 2FA transactions,

  3. You can customize the default verification type to be used for password reset and account unlocking operations,

  4. You can scan and identify QR for the mobile authenticator application to be used in 2FA transactions,

  5. Can see requests.

Users

It is an authority that is not defined as a role. All users in Active Directory are considered Users. Password transactions can be performed via ARKSSPR.

  1. You can change your password,

  2. You can define an alternative E-Mail address to be used in 2FA transactions,

  3. You can customize the default verification type to be used for password reset and account unlocking operations,

  4. You can scan and identify QR for the mobile authenticator application to be used in 2FA transactions,

Restricted Users

Groups and users who are not asked to take any action on ARKSSPR should be included in this role. It is an overwhelming role. The user included in this role cannot perform any of the activities described above or log in to ARKSSPR.
