# Unlock Account

The Account Unlocking feature allows users to unlock their Active Directory account after successfully completing the required verification process.

### User Identification

In the first step, the user enters their **Username** or **Email** address to begin the account unlock process.

After the information is validated, select **Next** to continue.

### Validation Type Selection

The user selects the verification method that will be used to unlock the account.

The available verification methods are configured by the administrator.

Supported verification methods include:

* SMS
* Email
* Authenticator

After selecting the verification method, select **Next** to continue.
